At Aylward Park, our small, nurturing, and calm environment provides our young people with plenty of opportunities to thrive. We believe in taking a holistic approach to education. Alongside academic success, we want to see our pupils achieve in their social, emotional, and behavioural development - helping them understand and overcome the barriers they face and secure better outcomes overall.
Passionate Staff
With only 12 desks available in total, our school community is close-knit and robust. Our team of staff work hard to build open and respectful relationships with our pupils, as we feel this is crucial to our learners' wellbeing and academic progress. Our specialised staff are all passionate about seeing our young people succeed, offering high levels of personalised support to our learners throughout their educational journey.
Holistic Education
Our curriculum is specifically structured with our pupils' needs in mind. Many have had adverse experiences and come to us with additional educational needs; our curriculum allows our pupils to learn at their own pace, considering their individual needs and abilities and making adjustments where necessary. We also offer them plenty of opportunities to develop their talents and pursue their interests via extracurricular activities - including dance, music, sport, art and much more.
Motivate, Educate, Inspire
Aylward Park belongs to a well-respected family of Compass Community Schools based throughout the UK. At Compass, our mission is simple: providing outstanding education that inspires our young people and supports them in securing better outcomes.
We strive to deliver holistic educational experiences, developing young people who are responsible, caring, and respectful of others. Central to our ethos is the belief that every pupil can succeed with the right support. Our vision is to inspire our learners to make positive life choices, motivating them to overcome barriers to learning and make the most of their life chances.
