Quorn Hall School welcomes students aged from 6-17 years old and is a specialist therapeutic school for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and autism.
It offers students individually tailored programmes of study, relevant to their age, interests and needs and students make outstanding progress from mostly below average starting points.
The whole school community is based on honesty, integrity and responsibility borne out of mutual respect. At Quorn Hall School, staff respond to challenges in creative and flexible ways, which demonstrate good values and inspire a positive culture.
The team at Quorn Hall understands the importance of providing students with stability, support and consistency to adequately equip the students with the tools they need to become a well-rounded adult.
There are a variety of clubs and activities that students can join, ranging from swimming and rock climbing, to working with local professional sports clubs such as Leicester City FC. These provide opportunities for students to build confidence away from the classroom and to face and overcome challenges.
Students at Quorn Hall School also benefit from PSHE sessions which cover social and moral topics within a safe and supportive environment. The students are encouraged to be reflective and to take restorative measures where necessary.
Staff create an environment in which students are encouraged and trusted to achieve, and they approach the curriculum imaginatively and creatively, enabling students to enjoy learning and achieve success.
Quorn Hall School is part of Newcome Education. A subsidiary of Cavendish Education. www.newcomeeducation.com
