At The Holmewood School London, we believe that thinking differently is a strength. As part of the Cavendish Education family of schools, we are an Outstanding, multi-campus school in North London, designed exclusively for neurodivergent young people aged 7 (KS2) to 19 years. All of our students are autistic and may also have ADHD or other neurodivergent profiles. They are working at a level broadly in line with their mainstream peers but thrive in a setting that champions individuality, embraces difference, and provides the support they need to succeed.
Our three distinct campuses provide tailored environments to support every learner:
Lower School Campus is a nurturing space for younger students to build confidence and core academic skills.
Upper School Campus is a structured learning environment focused on a bespoke learning experience, preparing students for qualifications, future education, and employment.
Creative Provision Campus is a specialist setting offering hands-on, skills-based learning in Food Technology, Art, and Computing, empowering students to develop practical expertise and express their creativity.
At Holmewood, we challenge perceptions of autism, ensuring that every young person has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Our approach is rooted in understanding, ambition, and a belief in each student's strengths. Through a combination of expert teaching, therapeutic support, and personalised learning, we enable students to develop independence, resilience, and confidence.
Beyond academic achievement, we place great emphasis on social, emotional, and personal development. Students are encouraged to explore their interests, build life skills, and advocate for themselves. By fostering self-awareness and self-belief, we empower young people to thrive in education and beyond.
Every student at Holmewood benefits from the support of skilled teachers, therapists, and professionals who work collaboratively to create an individualised learning programme. Families are an essential part of this journey, and we work closely with them to ensure they feel supported, informed, and confident about their child's development and future pathways.
At Holmewood, we think differently, learn differently and teach differently because every young person deserves an education that works for them.
