Julie Baker, who works at St Mary’s School and 6th Form College in Bexhill, has been awarded a long service medal by the Royal Life Saving Society for 30 years of service.
Julie who has worked in the swimming pool complex at St Mary’s for 32 years received her award at a special presentation in Worcester Cathedral earlier this month.
Julie said: “It was a wonderful day and I would like to thank the Royal Life Saving Society. To have my award presented in the amazing location of Worcester Cathedral made the day even more special”
Andy Daughtery, St Mary’s pool manager, said: “Julie has been a committed and loyal member of staff and everyone at St Mary’s is so proud of her achievement."
